This chart was originally recorded by Ella Fitzgerald for her Jerome Kern Songbook album in Los Angeles, July 1963, with the orchestra arramged and conducted by Nelson Riddle. Our transcription remains true to the original chart and contains all of the required dynamic notations and articulations that will allow your band to give a faithful rendition. The only adjustment that we have made is to remove the strings and rescore their lines into the sax section, making the chart playable by a regular 5444 line-up. The vocal line has been scored "as sung" by Ella and the vocal key is Db throughout. There are no sax doubles.
