This outstanding version of a timeless standard was scored by Nelson Riddle for the 1962 studio album Ella Swings Gently With Nelson (Verve V4055). The chart has been lovingly transcribed by Jon Harpin, right down to notating Ella's vocal part "as-sung". This is a big, fat chart, full of tonal colour and is a must for any Ella fan. The sax solo is improvised from the chords provided and there are no sax doubles. The vocal key is C throughout.
