Moonlight Serenade was Glenn Miller's most famous composition, served as the theme tune for his band and is probably the definitive example of the "Miller" sound - tightly scored Clarinet-led reeds over muted brass. There have been several commercial arrangements offered for sale over the years, the most notable of which had the reeds incorrectly scored by trying to squeeze every passage into one octave. Our chart makes appropriate use of the "drop 2" voicing, giving it the authentic Miller feel. We have also expanded the brass voices to a full eight piece section, from the original six. The little Piano licks are included and the Clarinet solo is notated "as-played". We have also included some performance notes, to help your reeds get close to the Miller sound.
