Transcribed from Goodman's 1938 recording, this medium tempo swing chart features solos for Trumpet and Clarinet and contains some lovely sectional and ensemble writing that gives the chart a lilting, bouncy feel. The saxes are scored CAATT, thought we have included an extra Baritone part - a double of the Tenor 2 part - which allows one of your Tenor players to take the Clarinet lead part. The original solos are written out in full and the brass ranges are moderate. We have also expanded the brass lines to 8 voices from the original 6 and there are no sax doubles. This is a classy Goodman chart from a time when the band was at its peak.
